Community Information
Facility Identification Card Use
With summer here, we would like to remind our residents who use our pools and other recreation facilities about the rules for the use of your photo identification card.
Your facility identification card must be in your possession at all times when using Association facilities. Facility identification cards must be presented to staff upon request, and shown upon entry to any Association facility. Cards are checked by staff to ensure that only members and guests are using the facilities.
The Association’s facility patrol and recreation staff have been instructed to confiscate any facility identification card in the possession of an unauthorized user.
Please note that you may only use your identification card which has your photo on it. Please do not lend your card to anyone else, including members of your family. We often find minors in our facilities using their parent’s card, which is not permitted.
Youth facility identification cards allow minors access to pool facilities when lifeguards are on duty, and also allow access to the tennis facilities without being accompanied by an adult.

Minors between the ages of 8 and 17 may go to a pool with their youth photo identification card only when lifeguards are on duty, or may use the tennis courts. Minors may bring up to 3 guests (ages 8 and older) into a pool or tennis facility.
If you have lost your card or have recently purchased or rented a home and have yet to obtain your cards, please either visit the Association office or call us at (949) 786-1800 for assistance.

Facility Guest Policy Reminder
Just a reminder: If you are planning to bring more than the allowed amount of 5 guests to a facility, you will need to obtain a guest policy.  Guest policies can be made no later than 3 days before and no earlier than 7 days prior to the scheduled gathering. Guest policies are for residents wanting to bring 6-15 guests. A fee of $5 per guest will be collected at the time the policies are issued.  Please note: There are a maximum of 15 guests per guest policy and guest policies will not be issued on holidays.

New Time for Online Tennis Reservations Effective July 1st
Based upon feedback from residents, Woodbridge Village Association is adjusting the time for residents to make online tennis registrations beginning July 1st.  Currently, residents can make online tennis reservations beginning at midnight for the corresponding day in the following week.  The new time will be changed to allow residents to make reservations beginning at 6:00 p.m. for the corresponding day in the following week.
Please note that only one court, per household, per day, can be reserved and it must be reserved in the player’s own name.  Please note, when you reserve a tennis court, a minimum of 2 players must be ready at the reserved time or the court will become open and the court will go to the next player on the waiting list.  All reservation times are based on the clock at the tennis club.  Reservations cannot be made more than 7 days in advance.
If you should have any questions on the tennis reservations, please contact Nicole Lucio, Recreation Manager at 786-1800 ext. 116 or email at nicole@wva.org.

Child Safety Day Planned in Woodbury
Chick-fil-A in Woodbury (Sand Canyon and Irvine Blvd) will be hosting a child safety day on August 14th, from 9:00 a.m.to 2:00 p.m. in the parking lot adjacent to the restaurant. An OC Fire Authority fire truck, water safety booth, Irvine PD bike, a K9 unit, and UC Irvine Bloodmobile will be on site.  Entertainment for the kids includes a face painter, DJ, balloon artist, and of course the COW!
There is no charge for the kids - the focus is on keeping them safe and remaining the "safest city in America".  Each booth will have something for the kids and there will be a raffle for some more larger-value items.
