The Association does permit bounce houses at some of our recreation facilities, subject to the policies and procedures below.
I. Contact the Recreation Department at 949/786-1800
A. Check with the Front Desk Member Services staff to find out if your desired park or facility is able to have a bounce house.
B. Some facilities must be rented for exclusive use in order to have a bounce house.
C. If a rental is required, the rental must be completed in-person with the Front Desk Member Services staff.
D. If a rental is not required, a maximum of five (5) guests per household are allowed with a valid adult facility identification card. If there are going to be more than five (5) guests per household, a guest policy must be completed and fees paid to allow up to a maximum of (15) guests per household. Please see the guest policy guidelines below:
One to five guests. Each Association household is permitted to bring a maximum of five guests per day free of charge to the Woodbridge Village Association facilities providing the member is in possession of the proper valid identification card.
Six to fifteen guests. Members must register groups of six to fifteen guests with the Association Office a maximum of seven days and a minimum of three days prior to the use of the facility by completing a guest policy form. Our office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (during summer, Wednesdays 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (closed for lunch on Saturday 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.) Guests in excess of the initial five free are subject to a five dollar ($5.00) per person charge.
Children three years of age and younger are free.
There are no refunds for cancellation of facility use.
Issuance of a guest policy does not grant exclusive use of the facility.
Members must accompany their guests at all times and are responsible for bringing their guests into the facility. The gate must remain closed at all times. The gate may not be propped open at any time.
An adult identification card must be shown to Association staff upon request for the purpose of gaining entry into any available facility. The identification card must remain in the member's possession at all times while using the facility.
Reserving of picnic tables, barbecues, chairs, securing of any area, or private party sign are not allowed. The Guest Policy does not provide for exclusive use of any facility or area.
Resident is responsible for their guests being water safe and having adult supervision at all times!
Please provide a list of the names of your guests to be written on the Guest Policy form, which is available at the front desk at the Association Office.
II. Contact a Bounce House Company to Make a Reservation
A. Contact a local bounce house company to make a reservation for rental of a bounce house.
B. Require that the bounce house company provide Woodbridge Village Association's required insurance documents before committing to the reservation. Information is listed below.
III. Provide Woodbridge Village Association with the following insurance documents via fax, e-mail, or U.S. Mail (Please See Recreation Contacts Page for Information):
A. A valid Certificate of Insurance for general liability naming Woodbridge Village Association as additionally insured in an amount of not less than $2 million per occurrence. On the Certificate of Insurance, we would need to have Woodbridge Village Association named as additionally insured in regard to Bounce House use at (name of the facility or park), located at (address of the facility or park), Irvine, CA 92604 or 92614. Please also include the date of the event.
B. A Policy Endorsement that shows Woodbridge Village Association is additionally insured.
IV. Contact the Recreation Department at 949/786-1800 to Confirm Receipt of the Insurance Documents and Receive Final Approval
