The Architectural staff at the Association is within the Community Relations Department, managed by Mr. John Steeb, Community Relations Manager. In Woodbridge, nearly all exterior improvements to your property require the submittal of a Home Improvement Application and written approval from the Architectural Committee before any work may commence. A link to the application and instructions is provided below for your convenience. There may be other forms/addendums that you need to provide with your application. Please contact the Association's Architectural Inspector, Dwight Magill, at 949/786-1800, ext. 126 to be sure that you submit the proper forms or if you have any questions regarding the submittal and review process. Many of these additional forms are available on the Forms page on this web site.
     For room additions, please note that you must first submit a Preliminary Application and plans. A link to the Preliminary Application and instructions for submittal is provided below as well.
     All applications are reviewed by the Association's volunteer Architectural Committee. The Committee meets on the third Wednesday of each month (except December) beginning at 6:30 PM. However, the vast majority of applications are reviewed by individual members of the Committee outside of the monthly meeting, in accordance with the Association's governing documents. If your application will be reviewed at the monthly meeting, you will be notified in writing and invited to attend. If you would like to attend the meeting to address a concern, appeal or other issue to the Committee, please notify the staff a minimum of one week in advance so that we can be sure that you are on the agenda. Although the Architectural Committee meeting is an open meeting and members may attend to observe the meeting, walk-in submittals are not accepted.
