Concerts on the Lake
We have planned a number of free Concerts on the Lake at the North Lake Gazebo for your enjoyment this summer. Join us for each of the concerts, which will feature different styles of music, while providing the perfect opportunity for a picnic on the lawn with friends!
Concerts are currently scheduled for the following Saturdays (dates are subject to change). Please call the WVA Office at 786-1800 to confirm concert dates.

Comedy Night Returns
Are you tired of paying high prices to get into Comedy Clubs? If you are, join us for a night of laughs as Woodbridge hosts one of our popular Comedy Nights. See comedians from “Evening at the Improv,” “VH1 Spotlight”, and your local Comedy Central.
Residents may bring their favorite refreshments to enjoy during the show.

Red Cross Blood Drive Set for September
The Woodbridge Village Association will host their fall blood drive on Thursday, September 30th from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Community Center, located at 31 Creek Road.
If you are interested in donating blood and being a part of this blood drive, please sign-up online at www.redcrossblood.org using the sponsor code woodbridge1 or call Cher Pacini (673-0575) to schedule your life-saving appointment. Each donor makes a difference and helps to save three lives!
Join Us for a
Community Swap Meet
Help keep your new year's resolution to become organized! This is the opportunity for you to clear out your garage, closets and cabinets and make a few dollars! Spaces for our October Swap Meet went on sale Friday, July 16th. A limited number of spaces are available through the Woodbridge Community Center. This is a great event to sell your belongings that you no longer need, and WVA will take care of all the advertising for you!

Children’s Halloween Arts
& Crafts Class
Drop your children off for a fun afternoon! Each child will be able to use their creative side working on several Halloween Arts and Crafts projects.
This is a fun class for children from the ages of 5 to 10 years old. Children can wear their costumes to this class if they wish. Don’t miss out on this wonderful children’s Halloween class!

Annual Holiday
Arts & Craft Show
Set for November
12th and 13th
The Woodbridge Village Association will host their Annual Holiday Arts & Crafts Show on Friday, November 12th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 13th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The show is open to all levels of artists; we hope to have a wide variety of decorative items, holiday decorations, crafts, jewelry, and much more! Each vendor booth will cost $40.00. Spaces will go on sale Friday, September 17th at 9:00 a.m. at the Woodbridge Community Center. Spaces will sell out and we only have a limited amount of space.

If you’re looking for unique and special gifts, our Holiday Craft Show promises to be a treasure trove, so mark your
calendar and join us! This exciting show will run rain or shine. We hope to see you there.
Annual Photography Contest Set
For all of you photography enthusiasts, the Woodbridge Village Association will be holding its seventh annual photography contest. Woodbridge is a photographer’s dream location with a potentially award-
winning photo around every corner or curve, so pull out your camera and start snapping away! Winning photos will be published in our January or February 2011 Reflections and displayed on our website. Our contest will include the following categories: (1) Lakes, (2) Bridges, (3) Sunsets, (4) Gazebos, (5) Landscapes, and (6) Wildlife.
We ask that all participants give their photograph a name. In addition, please turn in 5 x 7 photos and provide us with your name, address, phone number, and specify the category for which you are competing. (If the photo is available in digital format, please include a CD with a high resolution JPEG file.)
We will be accepting photographs until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2010. Each category will have one winner. Participants may only submit one photo per category.

Please Note: Anyone submitting a photo agrees to the following Contest Rules:
• Photos will not be returned, so please do not send your only copy.
• The photo will become the property of the Woodbridge Village Association which reserves the right to display or publish all photographs at our discretion, and it does not guarantee that all photographs submitted will be published.

Trip Planned to the
2011 Rose Parade
Join us for the Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year’s Day, 2011. We have reserved grandstand seating which is a great way to see all of the beautifully decorated floats without the discomfort of waiting in line the night before! Start your morning at 5:45 a.m. with a continental breakfast at the Association Office. At 6:00 a.m., we’ll board a bus bound for Pasadena. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 1st. Tickets are $100 each, maximum of six tickets per household.

Host Your Special Event in Woodbridge
The Woodbridge Village Association (WVA) is proud to offer the facilities of the Woodbridge Community Center, as well as our pools, parks, and beach clubs for your special occasions. The Community Center has several outstanding facilities available to rent for private functions for Woodbridge members. With summer fast approaching, this is the perfect time to start planning your next party or gathering of friends and relatives. Our facilities are perfect for weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties, pool parties, and other events!
Woodbridge has a variety of facilities that are available at very reasonable rates. Reservations are available on a first come, first-served basis. We encourage you to learn about our pricing structure and view photos of some of our locations that are available for rent at www.wva.org.
All indoor facility rentals include tables and chairs and a 2 hour set up period before the start of your function. Please note that reservations must be made a minimum of 10 days in advance. To secure a reservation, you must submit the fees, deposit, insurance endorsement (if necessary) and contract to finalize the reservation.
The WVA is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to assist members with their facility rental needs.
