Parent’s Night Off Scheduled
Has it been a while since you and your spouse went out on a date? Need some time to do some extra shopping? Well, here is a perfect opportunity – let us take care of your kids! We will serve a pizza dinner, watch a G or PG rated movie, play games, and have a ton of fun.

Easter

Easter Bunny Returns to Woodbridge
Will your children be able to outsmart that big-eared fellow, commonly referred to as the Easter Bunny and find all the eggs he’s hidden in Woodbridge? Join us at Echo Run Park on Saturday, March 27th and see if your children can find the Bunny’s most ingenious hiding spots!
     The cost for the hunt is $8.00 per child and includes eight eggs filled with prize coupons and treats. The hunt will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., with a maximum of 150 children.
     Please note: Wristbands will go on sale Friday, February 5th at 9:00 a.m. The wristbands will not be sold at the event, so you must pre-register. Each child hunting for eggs must be wearing a wristband upon entrance to the park. In the event of rain, the hunt will be held on Saturday, April 3rd.


Comedy Night Returns
Are you tired of paying high prices to get into Comedy Clubs? If you are, join us for a night of laughs as Woodbridge hosts one of our popular Comedy Nights. See comedians from “Evening at the Improv,” “VH1 Spotlight”, and your local Comedy Central.
Residents may bring their favorite refreshments to enjoy during the show.
Date Friday, March 26th
Time 8:00 to 9:45 p.m.
Cost $12.00 pre-registration
$15.00 at the door
Location Woodbridge Community Center
Note Only those 21 years old and over will be admitted. No refreshments will be served. The last Comedy Night sold out; each Comedy Night has a limited amount of space, so sign-up early... don’t wait!


 

 

  Join Us for a
Community Swap Meet

Help keep your new year's resolution to become organized! This is the opportunity for you to clear out your garage, closets and cabinets and make a few dollars! Spaces for our March Swap Meet are going on sale Friday, January 15th at 9:00 a.m. A limited number of spaces are available through the Woodbridge Community Center. This is a great event to sell your belongings that you no longer need, and WVA will take care of all the advertising for you!
Date Saturday, March 13
Time 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Place Lakeview Senior Center (located at 20 Lake Road)
Cost $30.00 ($10.00 will be refunded if space is left clean)
Note Spaces will be sold at the Community Center, and those selling items must bring their own tables and chairs.

St. Patrick’s Arts & Crafts
Class to be Offered

Drop your children off for a “St. Patrick’s Arts and Crafts” class. We will be doing all different arts and crafts projects – all with St. Patrick’s as the theme.
     This is a great class for both boys and girls! We will also serve a snack to eat during the class. Don’t miss out on this exciting and fun class!
