Easter

Easter Bunny Returns to Woodbridge
Will your children be able to outsmart that big-eared fellow, commonly referred to as the Easter Bunny and find all the eggs he’s hidden in Woodbridge? Join us at Echo Run Park on Saturday, March 27th and see if your children can find the Bunny’s most ingenious hiding spots!
     The cost for the hunt is $8.00 per child and includes eight eggs filled with prize coupons and treats. The hunt will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., with a maximum of 150 children.
     Please note: Wristbands will go on sale Friday, February 5th at 9:00 a.m. The wristbands will not be sold at the event, so you must pre-register. Each child hunting for eggs must be wearing a wristband upon entrance to the park. In the event of rain, the hunt will be held on Saturday, April 3rd.


Comedy Night Returns
Are you tired of paying high prices to get into Comedy Clubs? If you are, join us for a night of laughs as Woodbridge hosts one of our popular Comedy Nights. See comedians from “Evening at the Improv,” “VH1 Spotlight”, and your local Comedy Central.
Residents may bring their favorite refreshments to enjoy during the show.

Join Us for a
Community Swap Meet

Help keep your new year's resolution to become organized! This is the opportunity for you to clear out your garage, closets and cabinets and make a few dollars! Spaces for our March Swap Meet are going on sale Friday, January 15th at 9:00 a.m. A limited number of spaces are available through the Woodbridge Community Center. This is a great event to sell your belongings that you no longer need, and WVA will take care of all the advertising for you!

St. Patrick’s Arts & Crafts
Class to be Offered

Drop your children off for a “St. Patrick’s Arts and Crafts” class. We will be doing all different arts and crafts projects – all with St. Patrick’s as the theme.
     This is a great class for both boys and girls! We will also serve a snack to eat during the class. Don’t miss out on this exciting and fun class!

Lifeguarding & CPR Class Offered
Are you wanting to prepare yourself for a job as a lifeguard? If so, the Woodbridge Village Association is offering a class to teach lifeguard candidates the curriculum necessary to be a lifeguard. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive certifications in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training & First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.

Note Please note it is necessary to attend all three dates and pass all skills and written tests in order to obtain certification. Must be at least 15 years of age to participate in this course. This class went on sale on Friday, February 26th at 9:00 a.m. at the WCC.

Host Your Special Event in Woodbridge
The Woodbridge Village Association (WVA) is proud to offer the facilities of the Woodbridge Community Center, as well as our pools, parks, and beach clubs for your special occasions. The Community Center has several outstanding facilities available to rent for private functions for Woodbridge members. With summer fast approaching, this is the perfect time to start planning your next party or gathering of friends and relatives. Our facilities are perfect for weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties, pool parties, and other events!
     Woodbridge has a variety of facilities that are available at very reasonable rates. Reservations are available on a first come, first-served basis. We encourage you to learn about our pricing structure and view photos of some of our locations that are available for rent at www.wva.org.
     All indoor facility rentals include tables and chairs and a 2 hour set up period before the start of your function. Please note that reservations must be made a minimum of 10 days in advance. To secure a reservation, you must submit the fees, deposit, insurance endorsement (if necessary) and contract to finalize the reservation.
     The WVA is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to assist members with their facility rental needs.
