December
2004 Committee Meeting
There were no committee meetings in the month of December.
November
2004 Committee Meeting
No large proposals were submitted to the Architectural Committee
for the November meeting. However, the Committee still invited several
homeowners to the meeting to discuss appeals and proposals for improvements,
which included a vinyl patio cover, vinyl front fencing, wood fencing,
white vinyl windows and wrought iron fencing.
The Association’s Annual Meeting has been scheduled for April
20, 2005, which is the date that the Committee had planned to hold
its April 2005 meeting. Due to this scheduling conflict, the Committee
has moved its April 2005 meeting to Monday, April 18, 2005. The
deadline to submit plans for this meeting is Monday, April 11, 2005.
The Committee
also reviewed a preliminary proposal by the staff to add building
signage to the Community Center now that the exterior renovation
project has been completed. The Committee suggested several revisions
and requested that the staff bring additional alternatives to the
Committee for review at the January 2005 meeting.

October
2004 Committee Meeting
At
a relatively brief October meeting, the Architectural Committee
reviewed two (2) proposals for room additions. Both were approved
with minor revisions to be made on the final plans to be submitted
in the coming months.
The Committee
also met with homeowners to discuss a proposal for a new exterior
color scheme and to review an installed storm door.
September
2004 Committee Meeting
The
September meeting included a review of a conceptual plan for an
addition and remodel on a corner lot. The Committee was concerned
about the impact this project would have on the street and requested
that additional setback be utilized to reduce the massing affect.
The Committee
also reviewed two (2) proposals for front doors as well as a proposal
for an installed rear yard canopy.
August
2004 Committee Meeting
The
Architectural Committee had a rather short meeting in August for
a summer month. However, the meeting was attended by homeowners
who met with the Committee to discuss proposals for air conditioning
units, picket fencing, a fence relocation project, white vinyl windows
and bronze vinyl windows. Some of these proposals were approved
as submitted and amendments were requested on the rest.
The staff reported
to the Committee that the Association is in the process of having
a building sign designed for the Community Center at 31 Creek Road
now that the exterior renovation project is complete. Also, the
Committee was informed that the Board of Directors had reappointed
Jack Nielsen and Peter DeMuth to the Committee for new 2 year terms.
