November, 2008
At the November meeting, the North and South Lake Architectural Committee of the Woodbridge Village Association reviewed two (2) sets of Preliminary Plans. The Committee also reviewed several Home Improvements Applications as well.
Both remodel/additions were approved with minor changes by the Committee so that the homeowners could move forward and submit their Preliminary plans to the City.
There will be no Architectural Committee meeting in December due to the Christmas Holiday. The next Architectural Committee meeting will be on January 21, 2009.
October, 2008
At the October meeting, the North and South Lake Architectural Committee of the Woodbridge Village Association met with the residents to review their plans.
Two (2) sets of plans were reviewed; one (1) set of Preliminary Plans were review for an addition/remodel of 754 sq. ft., which was approved with one minor change and one (1) set of plans were submitted for a final review of a large remodel of 1,605 sq. ft. which was approved with only a few changes.
These issues ranged from minor to significant. New business regarding plan reviews, appeals or general items were discussed, as well as any unfinished business.
Both remodel/additions with changes were approved by the Committee so that the homeowners could move forward and submit their Preliminary and Final plans to the City.
September. 2008
The Committee reviewed only one (1) set of plans for a homeowner that wishes to install a lap pool and spa with a three (3’) foot high stucco fence. The pool & spa was approved as submitted so that the homeowner could move forward with their plans. The homeowner needs to submit the final plans so that the Architectural Committee can make a fair and accurate decision.
August, 2008
The Committee reviewed four (4) sets of plans for an addition/remodel that ranged from minor to significant improvements.
The remodel/additions were approved as submitted so that the homeowner could move forward and submit their plans to the City. The other item that was reviewed was the acceptance of the Canopies that went out to Members in the July newsletter.
July, 2008
The Committee reviewed two (2) sets of plans; one (1) for an addition/remodel and one (1) for an extended patio style cover with a fireplace and a water feature. These issues ranged from minor to significant.
The remodel/addition was approved as submitted so that the homeowner could move forward and submit their plans to the City.
The extended patio style cover with the fireplace and water feature will need to be resubmitted with some minor changes so that the Architectural Committee can make a fair and accurate decision on the homeowner plan.
Several other items were also reviewed at the meeting.

The Committee reviewed One (1) set of plans for an addition/remodel: The remodel/addition was approved as submitted so that the homeowner could move forward and submit their plans to the City.
One other item which is still being reviewed at the meeting, is the proposal to adopt guidelines for the installation of canopies. We will review these guidelines at our next Architectural Committee meeting. I will continue to keep you posted on the outcome of the Committee decision.

At the March meeting, the North and South Lake Architectural Committee is pleased to report that three (3) preliminary plans for a remodel/addition, some minor to significant, were approved with some minor revisions, allowing the homeowners to move forward with submitting their plans to the City.
A proposal to adopt guidelines for the installation of canopies was discussed and will be reviewed at a meeting to be held at a later date.
It is the intention of the Woodbridge Village Association to maintain the community to the standards that are enjoyed and appreciated by Woodbridge homeowners.
