Junior Lifeguard Program
The Junior Lifeguard program is designed for youths between the ages of 10 and 14 years old. Junior Lifeguards will be introduced to many aspects of the lifeguarding profession. Junior Lifeguards will engage in physical fitness activities, aquatic games, and other drills designed to aid in training each participant how to execute lifeguarding skills and have some fun. Among other things, these activities include jogging, swimming, and simulated rescues.
     This program will cover pool, lagoon, and boat safety. Also, each participant will be introduced to Red Cross CPR, First Aid, Personal Safety, and water rescue techniques utilizing equipment. All participants will be guided by WVA lifeguards. Please note: certifications will not be issued as a result of this training.
     Each participant must pass a swim test on the first day of class which will consist of treading water for two (2) minutes, crawl stroke for 50 yards, 50 yards of any stroke, and survival float. Each participant must bring a lunch, bathing suit, towel(s), sunscreen, and shoes suitable for jogging, to class everyday.

Little Folks Summer Day Camps
This camp is the perfect opportunity for your first-time junior camper! Busy hands and active bodies are stimulated through this program designed just for your pre-school aged child. Your child will benefit from social interaction, creative expression and gross motor development through daily activities including circle time, songs, crafts, hula hoops, parachute games, playground time and more. Campers will enjoy a fun theme each day with learning activities related to the theme. Plus, campers will enjoy many water activities such as drip-drip-drop and many more.

Skyhawks Mini-hawks Camp
A young athlete’s dreamland of different sports.

These award winning programs allow young children to explore soccer, baseball, and basketball in a day-program setting. There is no pressure – just lots of fun while these young athletes participate in all three sports through unique Skyhawks games. Our Mini-Hawk coaching staff is trained to meet the specific needs of young children and is committed to helping them start off on the right foot as they venture into athletics. All participants receive a mini Skyhawks ball, t-shirt, and merit award. The participant-to-coach ratio is approximately 8:1.

Skyhawks Multi-Sport
An athlete’s dreamland of different sports.
Multi-sport programs are designed to introduce young athletes to a number of sports and allow them to have fun experiences in a variety of arenas. These programs are designed to motivate the children to be active and healthy while giving them the fundamental skill sets needed to succeed and grow in whichever sport they choose. All participants receive a t-shirt and merit award. Also, remember to bring your bathing suits! The participant-to-coach ratio is approximately 12:1.

Summer Concerts on the Lake
We have planned a number of free Concerts on the Lake at the North Lake Gazebo for your enjoyment this summer. Teen Splash Nights
You are invited to join us at our regularly scheduled Splash Nights, the perfect way to spend a hot summer evening! Activities will include relay races, waterpolo and water contests. We’ll supply the snacks, sodas and D.J. You just need to bring your swimsuit, towels, sweats and the music you want to hear. We’ll see you there!

Open Registration
Open registration will begin Wednesday, May 14 and will continue through the summer. From May 7 to September 3, the Association will extend Wednesday office hours to be open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
1.  Open registration is available on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning Wednesday, May      14 and continuing through the summer.
2.  Presentation of your Facility Identification is required when registering for any programs. We      would also like to remind all residents of the Association’s “checks or credit cards only”      policy. Checks returned by the bank are subject to a $25.00 returned check fee.
3.  Tennis Open Registration will begin Wednesday, May 14 at the Tennis Center, located at      the South Lake Tennis Courts, 500 Springbrook South. For tennis information, please call      733-1100.

Refund/Transfer Policy
1.  There are no refunds or transfers on excursions, special events and Private Swim lessons.
2.  Refund and transfer requests on Swim Programs and Woodbridge Camps must be received      one week (7 days) prior to the first class. Refund requests received less than 7 days prior to      the first class will be processed for 50% of the fees.
3.  Refunds and transfers will not be given once a program begins.
4.  All refunds and transfers will be subject to a $5.00 processing fee per person, per activity.
5.  An original receipt must accompany all refund and transfer requests.
