We are continuing our journey through an assortment of literary works! We have organized this book club with the help of Woodbridge Staff and volunteer residents. Each month, the Book Club will meet at the Woodbridge Community Center, 31 Creek Road, on the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. Each month will feature a new and different book to be read by The Village. Our plans are to get people excited to read, and encourage residents to take time out for themselves…and what better way then to sit back, relax, and enjoy a great book!
If you are interested in joining The Village Book Club, please attend the meetings that are held on the first Thursdays of every month at 7:00 p.m. at the WCC or if you’re unable to attend but would still like to be apart of The Village Book Club please follow us online or e-mail the Recreation Supervisor, Nicole Lucio at Nicole@wva.org or call her at (949) 786-1800 ext.116. Nicole will beable to bring anyone up to speed with the books chosen by the club if anyone is unable to attend the first meeting. Woodbridge is hosting the book club to their website at www.wva.org
For those of you that would like to offer book suggestions:
- Please bring suggestions of books to read with 2 informative sentences regarding what the book is about to the meetings or e-mail book suggestions to Nicole@wva.org. (Please try and bring suggestions of books that are readable in one month time, that are readily available, and preferably not hard cover).
- If you would like to participate please send your contact information (Name, phone, e-mail address) and specify if your contact information can be given out to the rest of the book club.
- If you are interested in volunteering, leading a discussion, acting as the secretary of the club, etc. please either contact the Recreation Supervisor, Nicole Lucio or specify on the piece of paper if you’re willing to volunteer in any way
